Kylothée is still going strong.
It’s been years since Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet first crossed paths at Paris Fashion Week in 2023, and although early rumors of a possible link up were met with plenty of side eye, they are now well on their way to becoming America’s most unexpected sweethearts.
Despite being two of the most famous people on the planet, they have managed to keep things low key enough that Chalamet’s Marty Supreme costar, the forever candid Gwyneth Paltrow, had no idea who his girlfriend was while they were filming.
“Everyone makes fun of me because I don’t know anything,” Paltrow admitted in a British Vogue interview. “I was like, ‘Do you have a girlfriend?’ And he was like, ‘I do.’ He mentioned that she had kids and I was like, ‘That’s so cool. I really love to hear that from a young man like you.’”
“I understand a 45-year-old who has his own kids going out with a woman with kids, but it’s a cool choice to go out with a young woman who has two kids,” she continued. “I respect it. I think it’s kind of punk rock. But my point is I didn’t know it was Kylie Jenner…”
The best advertisement for their relationship is the pure, obvious joy they seem to get from being together, which comes through at pretty much every event they attend side by side (here are all their award show and red carpet looks as a couple). And maybe the biggest, most joyful moment is still ahead. If Chalamet wins his first Oscar for Marty Supreme at the 2026 Academy Awards in March, expect the energy to be unreal. Our prediction is that they’ll sit together, but she will not walk the carpet. And if he takes home the trophy, a shout-out feels inevitable.

January 12, 2026: Chalamet posted a set of photos from the Globes on Instagram to celebrate his win, and several of them look like they were taken by Jenner. In the first shot, you can even spot her hand, complete with those long nails, holding onto his statuette. Consider this their version of going IG official. See the slideshow here.
January 11, 2026: The pair attended the Golden Globe Awards together, where Chalamet kept his winning streak alive and thanked Jenner from the stage. Jenner, naturally, used the moment to snap a photo of her boyfriend.
January 4, 2026: Ending his acceptance speech for best actor at the Critics Choice Awards, Chalamet says, “And lastly, I’ll just say, thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you.”
The camera then cut to Jenner, who mouthed “I love you” in return.
Christmas 2025: Timothée’s name is added to the Kardashian family’s gingerbread house.
December 8, 2025: Kylothée saw Justin and Britney’s denim outfits and said “bet.” At the premiere of Marty Supreme, the pair turned up in matching orange outfits that quickly went viral, even inspiring a spoof homage from two Hacks stars.
August 15, 2025: After the two were not seen together for weeks, split rumors started flying, but a source told People they were simply slammed with real life schedules. Chalamet was in Budapest filming the third Dune film, while Jenner was back in Los Angeles handling back to school mom duties.
“She visited him in July,” the insider said. “Even though Kylie has a private jet, the flight is still 12 hours.… They’re making it work though. They FaceTime most days. They miss each other and are totally fine.”
May 7, 2025: Jenner and Chalamet made their red carpet debut in Rome, where Chalamet accepted the David di Donatello Award for Cinematic Excellence for A Complete Unknown.
April 12, 2025: Deux Moi shared photos of Jenner and Chalamet walking hand in hand at Coachella. Later that night, they were also spotted kissing.
March 2, 2025: Kylothée took over the Oscars. After Chalamet walked the red carpet solo, Jenner joined the Best Actor nominee inside. She sat next to him for most of the night, then switched seats with his mom, Nicole Flender, so she could sit beside her son for the announcement of his category. The award ultimately went to Adrien Brody.
February 12, 2025: Jenner once again sat beside her boyfriend at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, where he accepted the Arlington Artist of the Year award.

January 17, 2025: A source told People that Jenner was “having fun supporting” Chalamet during awards season. “She enjoys attending the events with him,” the source said. “She knows that his career is so important to him. She wants to be by his side for it all…Kylie is the happiest. They are very serious. Everyone in her family loves him.”
January 15, 2025: The pair was spotted together after the Paris premiere of A Complete Unknown. Must be nice having a girlfriend with a jet.
January 5, 2025: At the Golden Globes, Jenner and Chalamet looked happy and fully in love. Jenner was greeted with hugs from Chalamet’s A Complete Unknown costars Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro.

Jenner and Chalamet continue hanging out at an after-party, where they are spotted with Jenner’s mom, Kris.
January 4, 2025: Jenner accompanied Chalamet to the Palm Springs International Film Festival, as evidenced by one blurry shot you can see here. A red carpet interviewer even dared to bring up KJ to TC’s face, but he brushed right past it in his response.
December 30, 2024: “They had an early Christmas celebration together before Kylie spent Christmas Day with her family,” a source told People. “It took Kylie a long time to introduce him to her kids. He’s part of the family now, though. Her kids know him as a ‘friend.’ Her relationship with him is great and very easy.”
December 23, 2024: Per Page Six, the stars had a “magical” holiday with her two kids. “They had a really nice dinner together with Kylie’s family, and they drove around to look at Christmas lights. The kids had a really magical time, and Kylie and Timothée made some very special memories together.”
“Timothée not only got Kylie gifts, but also got some for the kids, which Kylie thought was so sweet and thoughtful,” the source added. “Kylie and Timothée are both going to be with their families for Christmas, but they’re going to stay connected despite being apart” through “FaceTiming, texting, and calling.”
“Kylie and Timothée are constantly in communication even when they’re apart. Their relationship is stronger than ever, and they deeply care for one another,” the source continued, adding that they “love each other very much” and are “enjoying keeping things out of the spotlight as much as possible for the time being, especially since so much of their lives are in the public eye. They like having this aspect of it to themselves for now.”
December 10, 2024: They were reportedly “affectionate” at a premiere after-party in NYC.
October 2, 2024: A source told People that Chalamet and Jenner are “just a great couple,” and that “everyone loves them together.”
“He’s close with her family and she’s close with his family,” the insider added. “It’s very serious, but it’s also a fun relationship. They’ve really figured out a good balance between working and spending quality time together.”
January 7, 2024: Chalamet and Jenner treated the 2024 Golden Globe Awards like date night. Jenner did not walk the red carpet with Chalamet, who was nominated for his performance in Wonka, but she sat with him inside.

During commercial breaks, the couple was caught kissing, but that was not the headline of the night. Later, amateur lip readers started speculating that Selena Gomez had been denied a selfie with her former costar, Chalamet, by Jenner. Both Gomez and Chalamet later said they did not interact at all during the ceremony.
December 24, 2023: Chalamet appeared to attend the Kardashians’ annual Christmas Eve party. In the background of a Snapchat photo shared by Travis Barker’s son, Landon, a man who looked suspiciously like the Wonka actor could be seen leaning in to chat with Jenner.
December 10, 2023: Instead of joining Chalamet on the Wonka red carpet, the reality star and her mom slipped into the Los Angeles premiere through a back entrance. According to photos and video shared by the Daily Mail, Kylie wore a formfitting black turtleneck dress to her boyfriend’s big night, mirroring his black turtleneck look. She also showed up to the after-party for the London premiere.
December 4, 2023: A source told People that Jenner was ready to call Chalamet “her boyfriend.” The insider said she was “incredibly happy…He is very good for Kylie. Since dating him, she seems very content, relaxed, and focused. Her family loves him.”
From Chalamet’s side, the source added that he was “in awe of everything she is accomplishing” and “especially thinks she is an amazing mom.”
November 12, 2023: Jenner attended the Saturday Night Live after-party following Chalamet’s hosting gig.
November 1, 2023: Chalamet played the role of plus one at the Wall Street Journal Magazine 2023 Innovator Awards in New York City, where Jenner was honored with a Brand Innovator award for her new fashion label, Khy.
September 10, 2023: At the US Open, Jenner and Chalamet were photographed kissing in coordinated outfits.
September 9, 2023: Newly public, the couple attend a New York Fashion Week dinner party together.
September 4, 2023: Jenner and Chalamet are spotted together at Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour performance in Los Angeles. In one photo shared by TMZ, the pair can even be spotted making out.

September 1, 2023: Someone at Milan Fashion Week spotted Jenner’s lock screen, and it was a photo of Chalamet kissing her on the cheek. Subtle, but not subtle.
August 24, 2023: Jenner was reportedly seen at Chalamet’s home. According to the Daily Mail, she pulled up in her Mercedes after shopping nearby.
July 28, 2023: Travis Scott appeared to reference the rumored couple in his track “Meltdown.” The lyrics include a nod to Willy Wonka, the character Chalamet portrays in Wonka. “Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs (Vs), got the Willy Wonka factory (Vs),” he raps, per Genius. “Burn a athlete like it’s calories, find another flame hot as me, bitch.”
Was it a diss? Fans definitely thought so.
June 1, 2023: The first Kylothée photos finally arrived. Page Six published a batch of pictures taken throughout May, including shots from a barbecue where the couple’s respective sisters, Kendall Jenner and Pauline Chalamet, were also there. In photos from a separate outing, Jenner and Chalamet even seemed to coordinate tie dye looks while out for a walk. See all the pics here.
Paparazzi also told Page Six that the makeup mogul was spending “upwards of six days a week” at Chalamet’s place. “Kylie and Timothée have been spending much more time together and they’re growing much closer as the days go by,” a source told Us Weekly. “Some of Kylie’s family members have met Timothée, including Kris and Kendall. They really like him and think he’s different from anybody Kylie has dated in the past.”
May 25, 2023: Jenner’s black Range Rover was spotted leaving Chalamet’s Beverly Hills home just minutes after arriving, reportedly pulling up around 10 a.m.
April 19, 2023: Per an Us Weekly report, Jenner was said to be hoping Chalamet could help her fully move on from her ex and the father of her two children, Travis Scott. “Kylie thinks Timothée is really sweet and she does see potential,” a source said. “Kylie knows she and Travis will always be in each other’s lives, and they have an amazing co parenting relationship. Part of her dating Timothée is in hopes of moving on from Travis, but that hasn’t happened yet.”
Meanwhile, a “Jenner source” told People that they “hang out every week,” but added, “It’s not serious.” The entire KarJenner crew reportedly wanted her to “move on” from Scott. “Everyone in the family is happy and supportive of Kylie dating,” the source said.
April 17, 2023: A source confirmed to ET that it was real. “They are keeping things casual at this point,” the source said. “It’s not serious, but Kylie is enjoying hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes. It’s been really fun for her because it feels a lot different than her past relationships. It’s new and exciting for Kylie and she’s having a lot of fun.”
April 14, 2023: A source told People that Jenner and Chalamet “are hanging out and getting to know each other.”
April 13, 2023: TMZ publishes photos of Jenner’s black Range Rover in the driveway of Chalamet’s house in Beverly Hills. The Daily Mail reports that the pair had a “secret date night” in Los Angeles, picking up dinner from Tito’s Tacos.
April 6, 2023: Deux Moi breaks the news about Kylothée, writing, “NEW COUPLE ALERT,” with one of its anonymous sources claiming to have known about the couple since January. The situation breaks everyone’s brains.

January 25, 2023: Jenner and Chalamet are first seen interacting at the Jean Paul Gaultier show at Paris Fashion Week. After relationship rumors begin circulating in early April, Deux Moi shares a resurfaced video of the pair laughing at the event.
December 2022: Jenner and Travis Scott reportedly split sometime before New Year’s Eve. The former couple share two children together, five year old Stormi and one year old Aire Webster.
