February 20, 2026: Zendaya set off a fresh wave of wedding rumors after stepping out in a bridal white jacket adorned with delicate floral appliqués. But it was not the outfit alone that had fans spiraling. As DeuxMoi pointed out in an Instagram post, Z appeared to swap her signature diamond engagement ring for a simple gold band on her left ring finger.
“Oh lord she’s married!!! 👏” one fan commented, while another wrote, “I mean the inner circle always said NO ONE would know when they got married.”
Still, not everyone was convinced. Plenty of commenters suggested Zendaya may have simply turned her engagement ring inward so the 5 carat stone was not visible. “She could have flipped it so the stone is facing in,” one user noted, adding, “but I hope she had the most beautiful, most private wedding and none of us get to see any of it ❤️❤️.”
2025
December 21, 2025: Zendaya joined Tom Holland’s family for a live, in person game of The Traitors in the UK, an event open to the public even though either of them could easily land a spot on the real show if they ever wanted to.
“You can’t trust anyone when you enter the round table… not even family 🧐,” Holland’s brother Sam captioned an Instagram photo roundup from the family outing.
May 8, 2025: Law Roach made it very clear that fans should not expect to see Zendaya’s wedding dress anytime soon. “It will probably be a wedding dress that nobody will ever see, to be quite honest, because she and Tom are super private about their relationship,” the longtime stylist and Image Architect told Complex. “Well, not their relationship… They try to be as private as possible, so there won’t be a Vogue spread. There won’t be pictures of the wedding. The people that she will invite will be really respectful of their privacy. So it will be a really beautiful dress that no one gets to see.”
April 25, 2025: Holland paid a visit to his fiancée on the set of Euphoria season three, bringing along their miniature schnauzer, Noon. In photos shared by People and DeuxMoi, the Spider-Man star was seen chatting with Zendaya, who kept it cozy in sweats and Ugg Ultra Mini Classic boots while sipping an Erewhon smoothie. Holland, meanwhile, showed support for his nonalcoholic beer brand with a red Bero hat, pairing it with a butter yellow crewneck, white sneakers, and black barrel jeans.
Naturally, fans had opinions about the polarizing denim. “Not Tom rocking barrel jeans harder than me,” one supporter joked, while another commented, “Let’s please not make those pants a thing again.” Too late.
February 3, 2025: It definitely seemed like Holland was fitting right in with Zendaya’s friends and family, based on videos from a party that circulated on X. In one clip, Zendaya popped into frame to flash the “I love you” hand sign before the camera cut to Holland, whom the person filming jokingly referred to as Spider-Man. In another sweet moment, Holland was seen cradling an infant, with text over the video reading, “The real Spider-Man. Facts.”

January 13, 2025: If you wanted proposal details, Tom Holland’s dad, Dominic Holland, delivered them himself on his personal Substack. “Tom, as you know by now, was incredibly well prepared. He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out. When, where, how, what to say, what to wear,” the elder Holland wrote, per The Cut. He even joked that Tom likely learned his romantic instincts from watching plenty of rom coms growing up.
Dominic also admitted he occasionally worries about the pressure that comes with their combined fame. “I do fret that their combined stardom will amplify their spotlight and the commensurate demands on them, and yet they continually confound me by handling everything with aplomb. I am completely confident they will make a successful union.”
January 6, 2025: TMZ reported that Zendaya and Tom Holland were officially engaged. According to sources close to the couple, Holland proposed sometime between Christmas and New Year’s at one of Zendaya’s family homes in the United States.
The outlet described it as a low key, intimate moment with just the two of them present when he popped the question. “It wasn’t a big, over the top proposal,” the tabloid reported. “Instead, it was very romantic and intimate.” Very on brand for a couple known for guarding their privacy.
People later confirmed the engagement, with a source saying that “everyone close to them knew an engagement was happening.” Holland had reportedly been planning it “for awhile,” the source added. “He’s always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special.”
That said, wedding bells may not ring immediately. “They will just enjoy things for now and won’t rush a wedding,” the source explained. “They are both busy with work projects.”
January 5, 2025: Zendaya stepped onto the Golden Globes red carpet wearing a very noticeable new accessory, a diamond ring on her left ring finger.
Nominated for her role in Challengers, the actor neither confirmed nor denied engagement rumors when asked by reporters. However, inside the ceremony, she appeared to show off the ring to friends, including Ayo Edebiri and Spider Man producer Amy Pascal.

Eagle eyed fans quickly speculated that the ring came from the engagement collection of Jessica McCormack, a London based jewelry designer. If that is true, the piece was notably absent from Zendaya’s official outfit credits, which listed Louis Vuitton and Bulgari jewelry. That detail led many to believe the ring was her own, and not just a borrowed accessory.
January 2, 2025: In a new cover interview with Men’s Health, Tom Holland opened up about why he and Zendaya are rarely photographed together on red carpets. The explanation, unsurprisingly, was a heartfelt one.
“Because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us,” he told the magazine. (And while that may be true to a degree, it’s also fair to say that a photo of Hollywood’s favorite couple tends to generate its own kind of spotlight. Still, his reasoning reflects just how intentional he is about letting her shine.)
Holland, 28, also made a bold comment about his long-term plans, sharing that when he eventually has children, he intends to step away from acting entirely.
“When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore,” he said. “Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.” He did not specifically say, “When I have children with Zendaya,” but given the seriousness of their relationship, the implication hardly feels far-fetched.

November 8, 2024: In major casting news, Deadline reported that Zendaya would star alongside Holland in director Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, slated for release on July 17, 2026. The project will also feature Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon, making it one of the most highly anticipated films on the horizon.

Even better, it sounds like the untitled film, which is expected to begin filming in early 2025, will arrive in theaters just one week before Spider Man 4 hits on July 24, 2026. Not much is known about Nolan’s project yet, but Holland recently shared that he read the Spider Man 4 script with Zendaya.
“I read it three weeks ago, and it really lit a fire in me,” he said on the Rich Roll Podcast in October. “Zendaya and I sat down and read it together, and we at times were bouncing around the living room like, ‘This is a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect.’ But there’s a few things we need to figure out before we can get that really going, but it’s exciting.”

February 21, 2024: Zendaya could not help but bring up Holland while doing press for Dune. January 14, 2024: Holland revealed that he and Zendaya still revisit their very first movie together from time to time. “Zendaya and I will, every now and then, watch Spider Man 1 and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again,” the actor told Extra at the Critics Choice Awards. “I love those movies, and I love savoring those moments, so I try not to watch them as often as I would maybe like to because it’s so special. It’s such a luxury, such a gift to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth.”
He continued, “I wouldn’t be the man I am today without that job and I’m so grateful and excited for the future and what it might hold.”

December 5, 2021: The pair practically made heart eyes at each other on the red carpet at a London photo call for Spider Man: No Way Home. During an interview on the carpet, Holland spotted Zendaya and pointed her out, saying, “There she is, looking beautiful, might I add.”

2019–2020
Zendaya and her Euphoria costar Jacob Elordi sparked dating rumors in August 2019 when they were spotted vacationing together in Greece. They never actually confirmed they were dating, but paparazzi later caught Elordi kissing her in New York City in February 2020. By September, though, he appeared to have moved on with Kaia Gerber.
Meanwhile, Holland went Instagram official with girlfriend Nadia Parks on July 27, 2020, when he posted a photo of the actor on Instagram.
According to a source speaking to the Daily Mail, Parks moved in with Holland after London went into lockdown. “They made the decision to isolate together and things have been going great between them,” the source said. “Tom has told friends and family they’re in an official relationship, and living together so soon into their romance has only made them stronger.”

Holland posted a photo of Zendaya in her 2018 Met Gala ensemble, writing, “All hail the queen. Killing it mate 🙌🏻.”

Rumors first surfaced thanks to the chemistry they displayed during the Spider Man press tour. Although the two denied dating speculation, sources claimed they were keeping things quiet. “They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider Man,” a source told People in July 2017. “They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye, but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try to spend as much time as possible with one another.”
In the same article, another source said their shared sense of humor was a big part of the connection. “They’re both really ambitious and they challenge each other, but, most importantly, they make each other crack up,” the source claimed. “They seem to have a really similar sense of humor and love joking around together. They have great banter back and forth.”
That same humor eventually became their go to way of swatting away the dating rumors. “Wait wait…my favorite is when it says we go on vacations together HA! Zendaya and Tom Holland met on the set of Marvel’s Spider Man: Homecoming. “We are like best friends. She’s so great and amazing,” Holland told People at the time. “I’m a little worried about dealing with fame, but Zendaya is super famous and she’s been through this, and I just call her up and say, ‘How do I manage being famous?’ I’m very glad I have a friend like her.”
